This campground is in Ninilchik across from the state fairgrounds. Ninilchik is close to being at the opening of Cook Inlet. The view is great but due to cloudy conditions does,not take a good picture. Mt Redoubt, a valcanoe is across the Inlet from this campground. The campers are slowly getting ready for the music festival that starts around 1 pm and goes until around midnight. Porta potties have been put out as this campground also goes across the road to a tenting area.
