Sandy and Jim have met the famed mosquito. These are pesty critters even with good bug repellent. The past two evenings the temps were great for sitting outside but the mosquito swarms stopped that idea. These bigs seem to cause problems in the afternoon too. Once we start camping in wooded areas this will probably be our biggest problem.
The other night Sandy and Jim were inside and the Mosquitos were swarming at the screen windows. Almost like the bugs knew they were inside and wanted to get to them to bite. Sandy has a number of bites on her feet, yet she has never gone without shoes. This has her wondering if they can bite right through socks and maybe even shoes.
